It's a special moment at the twilight hour when you view the Sonoran Desert Landsape as a golden sunset paints the sky above. Your garden adds to the natural beauty of all the surrounding Saguaro cacti while your waterfall pond serves as an oasis to the dry, hot sand and rocky mountains in the distance.

Viewed from inside an adobe home, we can begin to understand why some people prefer this serenity of nature, a peaceful environment that lends love to the soul.

I was inspired to create such a vision after returning from my vacation in Mexico. As an artist I wanted to pull together the best of all I had seen and paint a realistic concept of what it would be like if I could make my dream come true.

For those who would like to know more about the Sonoran desert, please read the following as described in the Wikipedia:

"It is the only place in the world where the famous Saguaro cactus grows in the wild. It is a North American Desert covering large parts of Southwestern U.S. in Arizona and California, and of Northeastern Mexico in Sonora, Baja California and Baja California Sur."

Well, although I admit it's too hot for me to live there, we can all enjoy this remarkable landscape art in the comfort of our homes.
