Description
Autumn is when nature paints her flowers and trees, and you feel the last of that warm southern breeze. At a special place and time, along the bayou that is so prime, a paddleboat sails into view adding a work of art so beautiful and new.
She is the belle of the bayou, a riverboat queen, simple in appearance but reigns supreme. Sailing gently down the stream one fall day, a young lad saw her and began to say, "They gave her the name, "Liberty," a sign of hope for all to be free."
(It's been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and as the artist I wanted to include that emotional feeling of love we share for the beauty of life that sometimes seems so rare.)

What many of us try to catch with a camera, you create with a brush which is something many of long to be able to do... Breath-taking talent. Sometimes I wish I would have lived in those days... Thank you... John
Glenn Holbrook replied:
Thank you, John for such a deep heartening response to my art. I believe you have expressed so well what I have worked so hard to accomplish. And, yes, I too would have loved to live in those days, so I create it in my imagination then try to bring it to life. Thank you....Glenn
